Summary

See, the main reason I wanted you to pace yourself during this last period is because I knew you would get a lot more done that way, and it was especially important to do so since this next Moon in Taurus period is particularly challenging. You just had two and a half days of feast - now its two and a half days of famine.

Normally Taurus Moon periods are great because of the Moon’s essential dignity, and there is some protection here insofar as the Moon’s ruler, Venus, can see the moon by whole sign aspect. The trouble arises from the square from Saturn and conjunction to Mars. Both of these create frustration, thought loops, and a ton of roadblocks and obstacles as you try and go about your day. The Sun-Moon square will also create obstacles and roadblocks. And don’t expect any ease in communication either, with Mercury Rx forming a square.

Just be patient, things will get better in not too long. Do what you can, but don’t get attached to any results or to making anything particular happen.

Astrological Signatures

Entry: Tuesday the 16th at 10:11 EST / 3:11 pm UTC

Departure: Friday the 19th at 11:03am EST. / 4:03pm UTC.

Moon in Taurus: This is the Moon’s exaltation - a very positive place for the Moon where she and her significations are lifted up and greatly supported. Physical work and care of the body are each highly effective during this time. The Moon herself is also more benefic during this period, making this a good time to do lunar magic and workings.

Triplicity and Quadruplicity: Fixed Earth. Fixedness indicates prolonged activities and an overall steadiness in people’s moods. The Moon in fixed signs makes activities more stable and their duration longer. The earth element emphasizes the physical body and propensity for work, and the Moon in an earth sign often expresses more practicality, groundedness, and a concern for the material world.

Moon’s ruler: Inferior Fixed Square to Venus in Aquarius. Last period’s sextile has morphed into a square. Challenges in interpersonal interactions and dialogue. Harmony and agreement between people is strained, and individuals will be less likely to get along with each other.

Relationship to the Sun: Inferior Fixed Square to the Sun in Aquarius. There will be great tension and challenges between your own desires and intentions and what your environment and circumstances support. Things will not work out very easily.

Aspects

  • Inferior Fixed Square to Mercury in Aquarius. Last period’s sextile has morphed into a square. Challenges around the use of the voice. Trouble with self-expression, especially given Mercury’s retrograde status. You will find it harder to communicate. There may be delays in travel. These troubles will be quite persistent with the fixed nature of the square.

  • Conjunction to Mars in Taurus. This will create a desire for quick change and provide you with initiative. But generally that initiative is being fueled by intense frustration with one’s own life and current circumstances, which can create a lot of inner suffering.

  • Inferior Fixed Square to Jupiter in Aquarius. The sextile from the previous period has tensed into a square. You may find hard lessons coming your way from people you respect, or challenges arising to test your personal resolve and conviction. Financial worries may come your way too. All of this can be resolved and made to work in your favor if you confront the issues that arise instead of running away from them. These troubles will be quite persistent with the fixed nature of the square.

  • Inferior Fixed Square to Saturn in Aquarius. The sextile from the previous period has tensed into a square. Negative self-talk, rumination, challenges with self-worth and esteem. Confusion and lack of clarity can also be present. It will be difficult to get anything done. These troubles will be quite persistent with the fixed nature of the square.
