Intense fire - Moon in Aries 10/28-10/30

Timing: The Moon will spend the endof this week in the Sign of Aries, starting on Wednesday the 28th at 8:44am UTC until Friday the 30th at 9:18pm UTC.

Moon in Aries: Moderate dignity, as this is a place of the Moon’s sectmate, Mars. Aries Moons are fiery and passionate, a great time for getting a lot accomplished and riding the initiative and impulse to succeed at whatever you want. Inspiration and enthusiasm abound, as well as the desire to “conquer” whatever tasks you have set out for yourself. Burnout is always a possibility.

Triplicity and Quadruplicity: Tropical Fire. Tropicality (Cardinality) indicates short and quick bursts of activity that are cut short and not seen through as often. The fire element indicates more liveliness and even a little aggression with people’s moods.

Moon’s ruler: Mars. The Moon forms a conjunction to Mars, and so her significations are supported by her ruler and more likely to ground. These days will be busier and much more worthwhile for making long-term plans moving energy forward. Moon-mars conjunctions on their own make for a lot of passion and intensity, especially in this sign. Expect a lot of activity, movement, and things happening. There may be some chaos coming to the surface.

Aspects

  • Opposition to Venus in Libra. Tension from other people, and strained politeness. There is a potential for help and support, but it will not come easily, will take more of an active effort on your part to work through the immediate awkwardness.

  • Opposition to Mercury in Libra. Trouble related to the mind and the use of the voice, especially given Mercury’s retrograde status. You may feel roadblocks and obstacles when it comes to effective writing and communication. If you are patient and adaptive, you may find some help by the end of the Moon’s stay here.

  • Inferior movable Square to Jupiter. Help will come in through the avenues of teachers and guides, though this help may be difficult to access at first. There is a slightly greater potential for emotional bouyancy and satisfaction, though it can be easily disrupted by martial/aries-esque aggravation.

  • Inferior movable Square to Saturn. Discouragement, dissapointment, and self-doubt. You will not be immune from sadness and some depression during this time, though it will come and go in quick waves given the movable nature of the square.

Summary: Moon in Aries periods are not generally super easy, what with the tendency towards burnout, overwork, and an unsustainable pace of life. This time, the many oppositions and squares will serve to aggravate this, to say nothing of the conjunction to a retrograding mars. There will be many roadblocks, tensions, and adversities in the way of making anything productive happen and feeling good about yourself. I would focus as much as you can on being adaptive and present - don’ try and make anything particular happen, don’t try and conquer the world. Feel the fire and intensity and let it be what it is.
